Randy Trawnik, BCO
The offices Dallas Eye Prosthetics and Fort Worth Eye Prosthetics were founded in 1982 by Wm. Randall Trawnik BCO.
Wm. Randall (Randy) Trawnik came to the Ocularist profession following his own eye loss at age 17. After graduating from the University of Texas/Arlington, he trained with noted pioneer ocularist John H. O'Donnell. He completed his U.S. Government sponsored training program in 1975 and received his Master of Ophthalmic Prosthetics from the American Society of Ocularists (ASO) in 1978. He has been an active member of the ASO serving as faculty lecturer, Education Committee Co-Chair, Vice President and President. Acclaimed nationally and internationally for his outstanding work in the field of Ophthalmic Prosthetics, Mr. Trawnik is also well known for his pioneering work in the field of Prosthetic Management of Congenital Anophthalmos and Microphthalmos. In addition to his private practice, he works as Clinical Instructor for the Department of Ophthalmology/UTSW Medical School and is a sought after lecturer for numerous medical associations.
Robert Terry Trawnik started in the Ocularist profession in 1987, working in Dallas and Fort Worth with his borther Randy Trawnik, BCO. He received his Master of Ophthalmic Prosthetics from the American Society of Ocularists in 1991. The same year he achieved his Board Certification from the National Examining Board of Ocularists (NEBO). His college years at Stephen F. Austion University in Nacogdoches left him with an appreciation for East Texas. In 1993 he established Precision Eye Prosthetics and moved his family to East Texas. He maintains offices in Atlanta, Tyler, and Shreveport, Louisiana where he is staff Ocularist at the Schumpert Eye Center. He remains active in the American Society of Ocularists and currently serves on the Admissions Committee.
