Craniosynostosis: Multiple Suture Synostosis
This form of craniosynostosis involves multiple types of sutures rather than just one type. Because there are so many possible combinations, there are over 70 kinds of multiple suture synostosis.
Kleeblattschadel is a type of craniosynostosis in which most or all of the skull's sutures close prematurely, resulting in a head shape that appears (from the front) as a cloverleaf. This form of craniosynostosis is not as common as some of the other forms.
